WHEEL SPEED SENSOR (ABS)

Wheel speed sensor (ABS) for VAG (Volkswagen / Audi / Skoda / Seat). Reads wheel rotation speed from the tone ring and feeds the signal to the ABS / ESP control unit. The same signal is used by traction and stability control and, on many vehicles, by the speedometer and hill-start assist. A worn sensor or a chafed cable puts the ABS into failure mode and the warning light stays on. Key features - Passive inductive design, signal matched to the OE sensor - Sealed housing and cable resistant to water, road salt, grit and vibration - OE-matched connector, cable length and mounting geometry, routed through the original clips - Direct replacement: no coding, no adapters, no cutting of the original harness Typical symptoms of failure - ABS and ESP warning lights on, systems switched off - Speedometer drops to zero or jumps while driving - ABS engages at walking speed or on dry road - Fault codes for wheel speed sensor circuit, C0035 to C0050 range and similar Service notes - Inspect the tone ring and the wheel bearing seal while the sensor is out Packing and shipping - Individual box 60 x 30 x 60 mm, 0.030 kg - Supplied in neutral QUATTRO FRENI packaging, ready for export cartons Please verify fitment by OE number or VIN before ordering.
