How to Register on ok.parts: Step-by-Step Guide with Screenshots
▶ Video guide (1:05) · Watch on YouTube
Registration on ok.parts is free and takes one form: three short blocks about your business, your contact person and your sign-in details, then a confirmation link sent to your email. There is no separate sign-up for buyers and suppliers. One account does both: you can list the parts you sell and open the contacts of the suppliers you need.
This guide walks through the form field by field. The numbers in the text match the red numbered marks on the screenshots. The screenshots were taken in October 2026 with sample data; a field label may change over time, the order of the steps stays the same.
The Create account button (1) is in the header of every page
1. What You Need Before You Start
Have these details at hand and the form takes two or three minutes:
- The registered name and address of your company. A private individual can skip both.
- A phone number with its country code, for example +971 50 000 0000.
- An email address you can open right now. The confirmation link goes there, and the same email becomes your sign-in name.
- A password of at least 8 characters.
The form is available in English, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Switch the language with the selector in the top right corner of the page before you start typing.
2. Open the Registration Form
Click Create account in the header of any page of the site, or open the registration page directly. The Sign in button next to it is for people who already have an account.
The page has two halves. The left half sums up the terms of the marketplace in short. The form itself is on the right.
3. Describe Your Business
The first block is about who you are.
The Your business block with sample data
- Language selector. Changes the language of the form.
- What best describes you? Pick one of seven types: Factory / Manufacturer, Regional brand distributor, Wholesale company, Auto parts store, Auto service, Auto dismantler or Private individual. The type only labels your listings. It does not limit what the account can do.
- Legal company name. The name as it is registered, the way it appears on your invoices.
- Country. Choose from the list.
- Province / State. Type the region, for example Zhejiang or Dubai.
- Full company address. Street, building, city and postal code in one line.
Fields marked with a red dot are required. If you choose Private individual, the company name and the company address stop being required.
4. Add a Contact Person
The second block is the person ok.parts and your trading partners will deal with.
The Contact block
- First name.
- Last name.
- Phone. Start with the plus sign and the country code, as in +86 555 123 4567. A number without the country code cannot be dialed from abroad.
Use the details of a real person who answers this phone. On a marketplace where buyers pay to open a contact, a number that nobody picks up costs you deals.
5. Set Your Email and Password and Accept the Terms
The last block creates your sign-in details.
The Sign-in block, the agreement checkbox and the Create free account button
- Email. A working address: the confirmation link is sent to it.
- Password. At least 8 characters. The Show switch on the right displays what you typed.
- Confirm password. Type the same password once more.
- Agreement. Tick the box to accept the User Agreement and the Privacy Policy. Both open from the links in that line. With the same tick you confirm that you are registering on behalf of a business.
- Create free account. The button becomes active only when every required field is filled, the email looks valid, the password has at least 8 characters, both passwords match and the box is ticked.
If something is wrong, the field gets a red border and a short message under it:
| Message | What to fix |
|---|---|
| This field is required | Fill in the field |
| Enter a valid email address | Check the address for typos and missing characters |
| Password must be at least 8 characters | Make the password longer |
| Passwords do not match | Retype the password in both fields |
6. Confirm Your Email
After you press Create free account, the form is replaced by a Check your email screen that shows the address the link was sent to.
The screen that appears after the form is sent
- Open your mailbox and find the message from ok.parts. It can take one or two minutes to arrive.
- If it is not in the inbox, look in the spam or junk folder.
- Click the link in the message. This activates the account.
7. Sign In
When the account is activated, press Go to sign in on the same screen or open the sign-in page.
The sign-in form
- Email or login. Type the email you registered with. If ok.parts issued a login to your company in a WeCom message, type that login instead.
- Password.
- Forgot password? is next to the password field.
- Sign in. Tick Keep me signed in on this device above the button only on your own computer or phone.
8. What to Do After You Sign In
The account is ready to work in both directions.
Find suppliers. Type an OEM or part number into the search bar at the top of any page. You get the offers for that exact number: price, minimum order quantity, stock and lead time, and next to them the rank of the supplier from E to A, the rating and the location.
An offer card: the Open contacts button (1). When opening contacts is paid, the button shows the price
Open a contact. The Open contacts button on an offer card opens the phone, email and other details of the supplier. Depending on the rank of the supplier and the current ok.parts terms, opening contacts can be free. When it is paid, the button shows the price before you click, as in the screenshot.
Post a request. If the search shows no suitable offer, post a buying request and let suppliers come to you with quotes.
List your own parts. Offers can be added one at a time or by file upload. The account type you chose at registration is shown on your listings.
9. If Something Goes Wrong
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| The Create free account button stays inactive | A required field is empty, the passwords differ, the password is shorter than 8 characters or the agreement box is not ticked |
| A red message appears at the top of the page after you press the button | The form was not accepted. Read the message, correct the field it names and send the form again |
| The confirmation message does not arrive | Wait two minutes, check the spam folder, then check the address shown on the Check your email screen |
| You cannot sign in | Check that you clicked the link in the confirmation message, and that you type the same email and password you registered with |
If none of this helps, write to the ok.parts team through the Contacts page.
10. Frequently Asked Questions
Is registration on ok.parts free?
Yes. Creating an account is free, there are no listing fees and no subscription. Opening the contacts of a supplier can be free as well, depending on the rank of the supplier and the current terms; when it is paid, the Open contacts button shows the price before you click.
Do I need separate accounts to buy and to sell?
No. There is one type of account. With it you can post your own offers and reveal the contacts of other suppliers. The type you select in the form, such as Wholesale company or Auto parts store, only labels your listings.
Can a private individual register?
Yes. Private individual is one of the seven types in the first field of the form. When you select it, the company name and the company address are no longer required.
Do I have to pay to open supplier contacts?
Not always. Depending on the rank of the supplier and the current ok.parts terms, opening contacts can be free. When it is paid, the price is shown on the Open contacts button before you click, so there are no hidden charges.
The confirmation email did not arrive. What should I do?
Wait a couple of minutes and look in the spam folder. Then compare the address on the Check your email screen with your real address. If there is a typo, register again with the correct email.
In which languages can I register?
The registration form is available in English, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, French and Portuguese. The language selector is in the top right corner of the page.
