How to Add a Part to My Listings on ok.parts: Step-by-Step Guide
Any ok.parts account can sell. A listing takes one form in the My listings section of your account, and it appears in the search results as soon as you save it. Buyers find it by part number, see your price and terms, and open your contacts with the Open contacts button. Listing is free.
This guide walks through the form field by field, using two real examples: a branded part listed under its own brand and number, and a non-original part listed with the No brand option. The numbers in the text match the red marks on the screenshots. The screenshots were taken in October 2026; the listing form currently has English labels in every language version of the account.

1. What You Need Before You Start
- An ok.parts account. If you do not have one yet, follow the registration guide.
- Photos of the part: JPG or PNG, up to 10 MB each. Photos of the actual part sell better than drawings.
- The exact part number and the brand it belongs to.
- Your terms: the price of one piece in US dollars, the minimum order quantity, the lead time in days and the number of pieces in one carton.
2. Open the Listing Form
Sign in and open My listings in the left menu of your account (1). The section shows everything you offer, with filters by status and condition. Click + Add listing (2): the New listing form opens.
3. Add Photos, Brand and Part Number
The top of the form, filled in for a branded part
- Photos. Drag the files into the frame or click it to choose them. Each photo appears as a thumbnail; the x on a thumbnail removes it. The first photo becomes the picture on your listing card.
- Original Brand. Open the list and start typing to find the brand. The list holds vehicle makers and parts makers.
- Original Oem Number. The part number exactly as the brand writes it.
- No brand (Neutral packing). Leave it empty when you sell the genuine part of the brand you selected. The next section explains when to tick it.
- Product name. Optional for a branded part. Start typing and the field suggests standard part names from the ok.parts list, such as SENSOR WHEEL SPEED; pick one or keep your own wording.
Brand plus number without the tick means one thing to a buyer: the genuine part of that brand. If you select BOSCH and enter a Bosch number, you are offering an original Bosch part.
4. Selling a Non-Original Part: the No Brand Option
If your part is not made by the brand whose number you know, for example an aftermarket replacement in neutral packing, tick No brand (Neutral packing).
With the box ticked, the brand and number become a cross-reference
- No brand (Neutral packing) is ticked: the part is sold unbranded, in neutral packing.
- Cross Brand. The brand of the part yours replaces, here HYUNDAI/KIA.
- Cross Number. That brand's number, here 59910A6300. Buyers searching for this number will see your offer.
- Product name. Now required, because the listing has no brand of its own to describe it.
When you save, ok.parts gives the part its own article number starting with CN and shows the manufacturer as NO NAME. On the site the offer appears on the page of the cross number, next to the other offers for it.
The non-original sensor on the page of 59910A6300: NO NAME and its CN article (1), the Open contacts button (2)
| What you sell | No brand box | What the buyer sees |
|---|---|---|
| Genuine part of the selected brand | Empty | The brand and its number |
| Non-original part in neutral packing | Ticked | NO NAME, a CN article and your cross number |
5. Set the Price and the Terms
The terms of the offer and the save buttons
- State. New or Used.
- Price / pc. The price of one piece in US dollars, always for a single piece.
- MOQ (pcs). The minimum order quantity in pieces.
- Lead time (days). How many days you need to ship the order.
- Packaging. How many pieces go into one group package, such as a carton.
- In stock. Optional: how many pieces you have now.
- Description. Optional and visible to buyers: material, quality, packing, compatibility notes. No contacts.
- Save to Draft keeps the listing in your account without showing it to buyers.
- Save publishes the listing.
If a required field is empty, the form does not save and lists what is missing:
| Message | What to fix |
|---|---|
| Please select a brand | Choose a brand in the list |
| OEM article number is required | Enter the part number |
| Product name is required | Enter a name (required with No brand) |
| Price must be a positive number | Enter a price above zero |
| Lead time is required | Enter the lead time in days |
6. After You Save: the Card and the Public Offer
A saved listing appears at the top of My listings and in the search results of the site straight away. Listings are not moderated before publication, so check them before you save.
Listing cards in your account: the CN article given to a No brand part (1), its cross number (2), the status (3), the Edit button (4)
If ok.parts already knows cross-references for your number, the card shows them under the name, like the two MAZDA numbers under the second card. They are added by the system.
This is how buyers see the branded listing on the page of its number:
The branded sensor on the page of QF60F00456
The buyer sees your price, the order terms, your type of business, location and rank. Your contacts stay hidden until a buyer presses Open contacts. Depending on your rank and the current ok.parts terms, opening contacts can be free for the buyer; for you as the seller it never costs anything. A new account starts at rank E.
7. Edit, Pause or Remove a Listing
Click Edit on a card to open the Edit listing form.
Editing a listing: the status (1), Delete listing (2), Save (3)
- Status. Changes how the listing is shown (see the table below).
- Delete listing. Sets the status to Removed. The listing is kept in your account with that status.
- Save. Applies the changes.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active | On sale and visible to buyers |
| Draft | Saved in your account, not published |
| Paused | Taken off sale for a while |
| Removed | Deleted; kept in your account with this status |
The price, terms, description and photos can be changed at any time. The brand and the number are fixed once the listing is saved: to sell a different number, add a new listing.
8. Rules and Tips for Listings That Sell
- Be exact about the number. Copy it from the part, the box or the maker's catalog.
- Be honest about the brand. Brand and number without the tick mean a genuine part; anything else goes under No brand.
- Show the real part. Clear photos, several angles, the marking visible.
- Keep the terms current. Update the price, stock and lead time when they change, or pause the listing.
- Keep contacts out of the listing. They belong in your profile; contacts in listings get the account blocked.
9. Frequently Asked Questions
Does it cost anything to list parts on ok.parts?
No. Listing is free and there is no subscription. Buyers opening your contacts cost you nothing either.
How soon does a listing appear on the site?
Right after you click Save. Listings are not moderated before publication.

Is the price per piece or per carton?
Always per piece, in US dollars. The minimum order is set in MOQ, and the number of pieces in one carton in Packaging.
Can I write my phone number or WhatsApp in the description?
No. Contacts are kept in your profile and opened by buyers through ok.parts. Accounts that put contacts in listings are blocked.
